Oíche Ghaelach, featuring Tipperary Youth Ensemble (Óige Thiobraid Árann), Roscrea Comhaltas branch and special guests

Wednesday 15th
Launch of local man, John Browne’s book ‘Remembering yesterday, living today’, which includes songs, poems stories and nostalgia – launch by Tadhg Maher. Night will also feature Roscrea Community Choir, Roscrea Comhaltas branch and guests

Thursday 16th
Talk and demonstration of pipe making and playing by local Shinrone man, Jim Wynam. Night will also feature many well known pipers from around the country

Friday 17th
Official launch of Fleadh
6.30pm: Slideshow presentation of the Historical sites of Roscrea by George Cunningham
7pm: Walking tour to view some of the historical sites around the town centre led by Joe Barry & Martin Hogan, Bag Pipers from Templemore.
7.10: Black Mills interpretive centre and Round Tower – Dancing by Ciara Callanan Ryan and Shane Cummins with music by Jim Egan
7.30: Singing by Roscrea Junior Comhaltas members at the Historical Arch of the church of Ireland
7.45: Damer House, Castle, Gardens and Drawbridge, music by Roscrea Junior Comhaltas, Cheese and wine reception being given by Roscrea Heritage Society,
8.30: Back to Damer Court Hotel for Speeches and official launch of Fleadh
